A culture that delights in reading

A Note From the Librarian

It’s a lost art in our culture and society today to be able to sit quietly and read.  Has there ever been a time when we need it more, though?  We need to calm our spirits and take our minds off of the cares of this world.  Reading can give our minds a break from the bombardment of social media, news and fears running rampant.  My goals for the library of Trinity Christian School are :

·  share stories with our students that will point to truth, beauty and goodness,

·  share stories that foster a love for reading, and

·  grow the desire to read in our students.

If our students can learn from an early age to take time away from all of the negative that can fill our minds, then they have a skill for a lifetime.  The Lord has blessed us with minds that are curious and want to know more but we have to also take care of them.  Reading is one way we can take care of ourselves and our minds.

My name is Rachel Robinson and I am the librarian at Trinity Christian School.  I am thankful to be in this place at this time for our students.

Library Wish List

If you are interested in purchasing books for our school library, please see this list. When purchasing books for the library we prefer school/library binding or hardcovers. However, sometimes books are not available for purchase in those bindings, or the cost of those bindings is not reasonable. In those cases, we will gladly accept paperback books for our library. Please contact Mrs. Robinson if you have any questions.

Bless us with a book
