• Middle School Programs: (Grades 6 – 8) The objectives of our middle-school programs are improvement through participation and the development of basic skills. This level will allow each student the opportunity to participate and grow. Depending on interest, we will field a Gold Team and a Blue Team. The Gold Team will be for those that are more developed and are more prepared for a competitive atmosphere. If a student-athlete is chosen for the Gold Team, game play is not guaranteed, but it is determined by the coach based upon individual skill development. The Blue Team will be for those athletes that need additional time for development or for those who are better suited for a recreationaltype atmosphere. Game Play for Blue Team players will be given in order to help develop, teach, and prepare him for future participation on the Gold Team or at the Junior Varsity level. At the discretion of the coach, an eighth-grade student may be played up to the Junior Varsity team or Varsity team, roster limits allowing. If only enough students exist to form one team, the coach will have discretion to play them as a Blue or a Gold Team based upon the skill level of the group of student-athletes participating.
  • Junior Varsity Programs: (Grades 8 – 11) The objectives for the junior varsity level sports are to reinforce skills and develop varsity level skills. This level of play is more competitive and exists to prepare younger players for varsity play. At the discretion of the coach, an eighth grade student may be played up to the Junior Varsity team for particular games. Game play at the Junior Varsity level is not guaranteed but determined by the coach based upon individual skill development.
  • Varsity Programs: (Grades 8 – 12) The objective of the varsity level is to compete as the most prepared and qualified athlete in that sport. Varsity athletics is highly competitive and advanced. At this level, the athlete will be scrutinized more thoroughly in his character, ability, attitudes, and skills. At the discretion of the coach, an eighth grade student may be played up to the Varsity team for particular games. Game play at the Varsity level is not guaranteed but determined by the coach based upon individual skill development.
